First, I wanted to share this note from yesterday's speaker, Erika Schenider, indicating that HACTC students might be a resource for us should we have some projects that we could undertake requiring their skills in the future. Here's her email:
Thanks so much for the invitation to present. We have a strong connection with the Rotary in White RIver Junction, so it was wonderful to meet another great group of Rotarians. Folks asked great questions. I'm so glad to see the appreciation for career and technical education.
As you do projects in the community, keep us in mind as a resource. In the past, many HACTC students have volunteered for rotary events such as the Polar Express train in White River Junction.
